The Arc-Howard is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to oversee/perform routine maintenance, logistics and coordination of maintenance services at our main office and residential sites.


The ideal candidate would be proficient in identifying maintenance/safety issues and coordinating the mitigation and prevention of those issues. Skills and knowledge of general maintenance and repairs is a must as well as proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office. Candidate should understand the mechanics of HVAC, Security and Fire systems. This position will also coordinate with various stakeholders on special events, contracts, seasonal weather events and grant reporting. Excellent communication skills, both written and orally, are essential. Bachelor's degree preferred, experience in the field would be considered in lieu of education. Five-years of facilities coordination and/or maintenance experience preferred.


The Arc of Howard County is a non-profit organization providing day, residential and employment services as well as advocacy for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities residing in Howard County.
